Salvaged ghost rope door mat

Ocean salvaged door mat made from repurposed commercial fishing rope found on the beaches, rocks, seabed and floating at sea around the Pembrokeshire coastline.
Each mat is unique in colour and design depending on the rope l have available at the time of order. 
All the rope used has been provided by local fishermen, members of the public during beach walks, Sea Trust Wales during their marine life monitoring, Volunteer divers on open water sea cleans and various Pembrokeshire beach clean groups. 
These mats are spliced together the using traditional nautical methods, an art which is now dying out due to changes in the rope used for fishing. The splicing gives them a strong finish and one that is pleading to the eye.
Each mat is extremely durable and can be used for a variety of purposes such as welcome mat for your home, van, boat or caravan, a changing mat for watersports, a beach mat, gutting fish for the BBQ or getting your car out of sand/mud. The item that just keeps giving!! 
They can also easily be re-cleaned using a jetwash or hose 🥰
