Nautical Key rings
Handmade using traditional organic materials, these nautical knots have been historically used onboard ships for decades.
The monkey fist was traditionally used for a heaving line. This allowed the sailors onboard to throw the line from a distance to the dock for the ship to be moored.
A fender is used to prevent a boat from being damaged by rubbing/impacting a dock (when the boat's tied up) or from being hurt by contact with another boat (when multiple boats are tied/rafted together).
